Meet the Team

SADCo. started as a dream, not a real lofty one, but one of those that you can't really get out of your head. SADCo. was going to be a place that was truly different, not your normal restaurant, because it was a reflection of a not so normal place, Alaska.

Alaska is up there in the "Great White North" on its own. Nothing is surrounding it (But Canada), so it doesn't really take its cues from anyone, it's its own animal. That is sort of what SADCo. is, it's its own animal.

We serve one thing, pel'meni. No we don't have another menu lying around somewhere, we just have dumplings, and we are pretty proud of that. We sell only one dish, because we know what we know and we don't pretend to know much else. Beef or Chicken Pel'Meni and Potato Pierogies are the options and they are all delicious (we are a little biased).

Swing by and ask us about the food, ask us about Alaska, ask us how you can be a part of the team, we would be happy to talk with you. Because we are just a bunch of young kids doing what we love and we are really excited to meet you.

Growing up my whole life in Alaska, I was fortunate enough to be presented a different world view than most are afforded in suburban America. Taught the importance of community and small business, respect of nature, and rugged work in frigid winters balanced with endless days where the sun never set in the summer. Alaska is truly a place stuck in time, very comfortable in its own skin, which is a reflection of its residents. Thats what I think SADCo. is, comfortable in its own skin, while blazing our own trails. We are what we are, and we aren't going to change."
